Flipick, Shop from Amazon: Magazine-style

Flipick is an exciting new service that lets you interactively build magazine style catalogs on Amazon.

Flipick was born out of one of our usual brain-storming sessions. Someone asked why online shopping was so painful, and if technology couldn’t provide for an immersive, engrossing experience with full bells and whistles. None of the shopping sites we’d encountered remotely came close to being interesting. Saved carts all looked alike.

So. To cut a long story short, after you create a Flip, it can be mailed to your friends, and open to reveal a great looking catalog, with options to add to cart, research user reviews and access additional information - all from Amazon.

We chose Amazon as a case in point as it had the most comprehensive and structured data. We received extensive feedback from Amazon customers who wanted additional features. Currently available for free, we eventually plan to build these wishlists into Flipick. In the near future, Flipick will partner with other brands to enhance their online retail experience.
